What to Order: Green curry with pork and cured pork sausage

The original Jek Pui curry which is featured on the Netflix show showing people lining up on stools on the footpath of a crowded road has now moved to a new location. Possibly because of the risk to diners of the traffic zipping by.

This 50 year old place serves a fusion green curry which is a mix of Chinese and Thai components. Its usually served with a boiled egg or a cured pork sausage that is made of fermented meat and has a sweet taste.

The curry is outstanding but somehow the sausage and curry didnt seem to go well together for me. The sausage in itself was quite delicious but the dry sweet meat didnt marry well with the coconutty gravy. But if you want to try a Michelin star curry, then this is the place.

Try to go in odd hours, because the place is packed during meal times thanks to the Netflix show.
